Star Trek III: The Search For Spock

21st February: Star Trek III: The Search For Spock

After his death to save the USS Enterprise Spock's body is jettisoned to the new Genesis planet. After seeing Spock's father, Kirk and the rest of the Enterprise realize there maybe a chance to bring him back. This is a direct sequel to the second movie. Number 2 ends with the Enterprise limping away and number 3 starts with them docking in a space station.

Similarly with the Pixar boxset i reviewed, I don't think i can honestly slate a Star Trek movie, however, saying that, i do have a slight beef with this movie. It was good, don't get me wrong, but it felt like that it was made just because people complained about Spock dying in the last one. It didn't really wow me like, Wrath Of Khan did. There is the beautiful moment at the end where Spock starts to remember who he is and who Kirk is, but not enough to deem it an awesome movie. It all seemed coincidental that Spock was taken off Genesis just in time to bring him to the same age he died.
Christopher Lloyd was nice to see, though i assume he was travelling at more than 88mph with more than 1.21 gigawatts in his Klingon engines.

Overall: 6/10
